I’ve spent over 30 years perfecting the art and craft of roofing. What began as a fascination with metalwork and architectural detail has grown into a lifelong passion for creating roofs that not only protect but also inspire.

As a Spengler — a European-trained master craftsman in metal roofing and cladding — I take great pride in precision, detail, and quality workmanship. Craftsmanship isn’t just a skill; it’s a mindset that runs through every aspect of what we do at Slick Roofing.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across all areas of roofing — from high-end residential and heritage restorations to bespoke designs, environmentally conscious projects, and architectural façades. These diverse experiences have shaped my approach and deepened my appreciation for the art of roofing, where every detail matters and every project tells its own story.

I’ve always believed that staying at the forefront of our industry requires constant learning. That’s why I regularly travel overseas to collaborate with suppliers, attend roofing expos, and stay connected with the latest materials, technologies, and techniques. My team and I also continue our specialist training as Spengler’s and master craftsmen, ensuring every project reflects the highest international standards.

At Slick Roofing, we combine traditional European craftsmanship with modern innovation. We operate as a fully in-house service, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery from Germany, France, and Switzerland — making us a true one-stop shop for premium roofing and cladding.

To push the boundaries even further, we developed fully mobile tinsmith workshop, custom-designed and built by Knoll in Germany in collaboration with Martin Beskid from Fribesco and myself. It’s the only one of its kind in Australia, giving us the ability to roll-form and manufacture on-site — a game-changing capability that sets us apart from any other roofing company in the country.
